Au Ver a Soie – Soie Surfine Thread. 130/2 extra fine weight twisted silk. This thread can be used for hand or machine sewing and is preferred for 45 count linen and higher.

We sell Au Ver a Soie 100% silk thread made in France. This thread is ideal for counted cross stitch work, hand piecing, English paper piecing, machine and hand quilting, hand stitching binding and applique (Surfine is not recommended if an interfacing is used). It’s luster and strength will enhance any project. The quality is exceptional and is better than any silk thread I have previously used. In my store under “Downloads” there is a free pdf titled “Au Ver a Soie” with helpful information regarding the use of these threads.
