The fine, sharp tip allows you to cut out unwanted threads accurately and specifically on cross stitch linen and embroidery.  The thin blades are ideal for closely trimming and snipping curves and “V” shapes for applique.  When snipping threads, you will achieve a clean cut without any fraying.
